Research Skills Seminar

Abstract:

This is an informal seminar and discussion about basic research skills, aimed at beginning graduate students and upper-year undergraduates who are about to start doing research in computer science. We will chat about strategies for picking research topics, reading and writing research papers, citation management, time management, and project management. The session is meant to be interactive, and the goal is to share tips that can help make us all more effective researchers.
