Governor General's Innovation Award for Prof. Joelle Pineau

Prof. Joelle Pineau has been named as the recipient of one of six Governor General's Innovation Awards. This award honours excellence in innovation and contributions to society. Prof. Pineau is known for her leadership in innovative applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning to the field of personalized medicine, and was nominated for the award by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.
