Prof. Oana Balmau receives SIGOPS distinction

Congratulations to Prof. Oana Balmau! Her PhD thesis received one of two honourable mentions in SIGOPS's Dennis M. Ritchie Doctoral Dissertation Award competition. Prof. Balmau's thesis was on the topic of "Redesigning Persistent Key-Value Stores for Future Workloads, Hardware, and Performance Requirements". She joined McGill in January 2021.
