Congratulations to M.Sc. student Xavier Morin Duchesne for winning the 2023 Itek Award for his paper "Natural Scene Statistics and Distance Perception: Ground Surface and Non-ground Objects" which was published in the Journal of Perceptual Imaging in 2022  (co-authored with Michael Langer).

This award recognizes an outstanding original student publication in the field of imaging science or engineering published in an IS&T Society journal (JIST, JPI, or JEI) during the preceding calendar year.
