Six SOCS Professors Receive Canada CIFAR Chair in AI

CIFAR has named six faculty members affiliated with the School of Computer Science to the first cohort of Canada CIFAR Chairs in Artificial Intelligence, as part of the Pan-Canadian Artificial Intelligence Strategy. The professors are Profs. Joelle Pineau, Doina Precup, Jackie C.K. Cheung, Reihaneh Rabbany, Blake Richards (joint with the Montreal Neurological Institute), and Marc G. Bellemare (Google Brain, Adjunct Faculty at SOCS). Congratulations!
